Art Club

Art Club has been running since 1996 when my elder daughter was 6. Over the years the age groups have varied as children grow up, move on and are replaced. Currently, I have spaces for 3 or 4 from September. We meet after school each Tuesday in my studio.  I also run successful holiday courses and workshops when time permits.

I aim to teach the use of a range of media and to challenge the children to apply this knowledge to their own projects. These may be designed by me, initially, but I encourage them to take an idea and to run with it, resulting in diverse results. One of the older girls has incorporated some of her Art Club work into her GCSE portfolios this year.
